Maddie got to wear her Halloween costume to dance practice the week of Halloween. There Wonder Woman is with Miss Cari and then WW enjoying a pumpkin sucker.....shuffle step....shuffle step!

Race for the Cure 2009
I do the Race for the Cure, and this was the first year that Wade and Maddie joined me! Wade was a part of "3 Miles of Men" and Maddie was her mommy's cheerleader. The first mile, she stayed with daddy, the last two miles she came with me .5 mile in her stroller, 2.5 miles me carrying her! I hope that she will be a part of this important cause with me for years to come :)

I'm a Celebrity!
One of my girlfriends is "Mrs. Polka Dot Papers" and has a monthly segment on a local television station and this segment was on easy Halloween outfits to put together. She called and asked if Maddie could be a model and I told her that she may be a bit shy (from our experience at dance class). Maddie rocked it out on t.v. I was so proud of her! We had to be up at 5am, at the studio by 6am, thank goodness Kamme stayed the night to help out. After Maddie's televivion debut, we stopped by Shipley's for a sugar high :)
Deer Widow, Maddie and the Rivermarket
So, now that it's pretty much just Maddie and I on the weekends (due to my husbands obsession to get a deer) we have been going to the Rivermarket on Saturdays for breakfast, the farmers market for fresh produce and to top it off, play on the awesome playground behind the Rivermarket.
GOT POTTY????
So, we're trying to potty train! 1 skittle for tee-tee, 2 skittles for poo-poo! So far, her sugar tooth is working for the both of us!

End of the Year "Catch Up!"
Ok, so I have been a slacker blogger for the last couple of months. We have been so busy with life, potty training, volunteer work, etc. etc. etc. I think that I have had withdrawals from blogging! I am actually in the process if making "Life with Maddie" in to a book......well at least her first year of life. I promise that I will get back on track in 2010. Happy New Year to All!
