"Why Mommy?"

Ok, so Maddie is only 22.5 months old and already questioning "Mommy." All I can say is that Wade and I are going to have our hands full with this little firecracker! The other day I told her something and she said, "Why mommy?" I finally got to use the one thing that I heard growing up my whole life......"Because Mommy said so!!" Maddie crossed her arms and said, Gosh, Mommy!" I about fell over laughing! One of her other "Maddieism's" is....."are you kidding me Mommy???"

"Ima Woksta!"

The other night I finally opened one of Maddie's Christmas presents (it was a 3+ toy) which was a "Sing-A-Long Microphone." Ok, all I have to say is that I have a video tape of the next "American Idol!" She was a natural with the "mic" and sang for over an hour.....right out the bathtub with nothing on but a diaper! Her daddy said, "Maddie! You're a Rockstar!" Her response was, "IMA WOKSTA!" Complete with her arm in the air just like Elvis! Keep your eye out for this little performer :)

"Pitty"

Ok, Maddie is saying more and more funny things these days, so a lot of my future postings will be about her fuuny "Maddieism's!" The other morning I was getting Maddie dressed in a new hot pink t-shirt. She started rubbing the front of her shirt and said, " Oh, pitty mommy!" I said, Oh, yes Maddie, you are very pretty!"

Crackin' Me Up!

A little over 22 months ago, I gave birth to a little girl.......now I have a " Little Ham!" This little girl has the cutest sense of humor. To name a couple of her new things...she will prentend to sneeze and say,"Cuse Me!" ... She'll pick up one of her babies and say, "Shoo Shoo" (which means dirty diaper) so she has to go get her changing mat out of her diaper bag and prentend to change the diaper.....she LOVES to list all of her classmates names....At school she if the "meeter and greeter" of the classroom...when we say our prayers at night she will start with her grandparents and end with "D. D." everytime.....She loves to fall asleep holding on to my thumb...She loves to mimick animal noises....She loves to "break it on down" at the sound of a beat...LOVES her shades! Maddie is the best little friend this Mommy could ask for :) How lucky am I......

Little Miss Maddie Crocker!

Maddie and I played in the kitchen today and made cookies! She did most of the work (except for the tiny bit of help she had from mommy)! She even did her own clean up:) Maddie didn't really understand the whole "baking process," she wanted her "cockies" now! After we took them out of the oven and she taste tested one, she was running around the house (with cookie in hand shouting, "I made cockies, I made cockies, I made cockies!" She woke up this morning wanting one for breakfast:)

A Natural Beauty!

Here are a few pics of Maddie and her morning routine ;) The big "scabby raspberry" on her chin came from her standing in a stroller backwards at the BBQ, falling over and hitting her chin on the pavement...This child has NO fear.....just like her daddy! Anyways, I guess little princess's get boo's boo's too!

The Great Outdoors!

We have had "Maddie's 1st Camping Expedition" planned for a couple of weeks now. As this past came week came to an end, the weather forecast didn't look too promising for a great weekend for the outdoors! Well, that didn't stop the Moore family, we invaded Woolly Hollow anyways. We got there, it was raining. It actually rained for the next couple of hours. It finally stopped for us to play in the mud, set up our tents, play in the mud, blow up our mattress's, play in the mud and eat dinner......Oh! did I mention that Maddie played in the mud! It was a mother's worst mud nightmare:) After I realized that it wasn't that big of deal that my child was covered in mud and that she COULD be cleaned up and clothes changed, I began to relax. We all had a great time and Maddie especially had fun sleeping in a tent with it raining ALL night! We came away a little damp, but will definitely be back for some "Moore Fun Outdoors!"

The Great Outdoors cont'd...
