Yes, this is one of those pics that Maddie will absolutely die when I pull it out for one of her "future" boyfriends! I finally took her Christmas tree down today, so this was her helping mommy take the ornaments off. She also just got out of the bath.....usually my child doesn't run around the house naked as a jaybird :)

Christmas 2008
Wow! This Christmas felt like a world-wind! Christmas Eve, we packed up and went looking at Christmas lights and got Maddie to bed so Santa would visit. Daddy and I (a.k.a. Santa's Helpers) were up late into the early morning! We woke up to the sound of Nena and Nite-Nite coming in the front door to share the excitement of Maddie and what Santa brought her. Aunt Izzy and Kevin showep up too! Maddie recieved a kitchen set (which she was cooking all morning long for us), a beauty parlor (my mom gave her a tiara set and she would sit in the front of her mirror staring at herself with it on an brushing her hair...too cute)! Maddie now also has a "bebe" which she strolls her around in her stroller and carries her like a football!
After we all had our Christmas breakfast, we loaded up and headed to Hot Springs to celebrate with Wade's mom, dad, sister and nephews. Did I mention that Kamee and Papa gave Maddie a cedar playhouse that took daddy and friends 2 days to put together (be looking for those pics soon)!
We then headed back to LR and went over to some friends and celebrated with them. This past weekend we went to my dad's house to celebrate Christmas with Pops, T and Papa D.
This Christmas has been so special to me! We were able to celebrate it with all of our loved ones. I think that sometimes we forget the meaning of Christmas..to me it is, family, hope, love, faith and forgiveness. I hope everyone had a blessed holiday and we look forward to what 2009 has in store for us and Little Maddie! Happy New Year!

Gumdrops and Lollipops
Maddie attended the Junior League Gumdrops and Lollipops today along with her cousins! It was a pretty neat set up...complete with art stations that she colored picture frames for the fridgerator, made Christmas cards, Christmas gift bags and then Christmas tree made out of cones decorated with icing, gumdrops, red hots, peppermints and sprinkles. We topped the adventure off with pictures with Santa. She was not too thrilled with Santa, but her cousins were there with her and made it a little better!
