Gumdrops and Lollipops

Maddie attended the Junior League Gumdrops and Lollipops today along with her cousins! It was a pretty neat set up...complete with art stations that she colored picture frames for the fridgerator, made Christmas cards, Christmas gift bags and then Christmas tree made out of cones decorated with icing, gumdrops, red hots, peppermints and sprinkles. We topped the adventure off with pictures with Santa. She was not too thrilled with Santa, but her cousins were there with her and made it a little better!

What more could you want in life???? You got a cozy (and stylish) scarf to wear, your favorite rocking chair, a chocolate chip "cocky," a beautiful smile, good company and not a care in the world!

The Lighting of the Pink Princess Tree

Here are a few pics from Maddie and I decorating her "Pink Princess Tree." She seemed to enjoy the lights and helping mommy put the ornaments on. This tree is in her room, so I am waiting to see how long it takes her to take it apart :)

Happy Thanksgiving

Here are some pictures of Maddie eating Thanksgiving lunch at Nite-Nite's house. She had her own special place mat that she made at school......how cute is this little pilgrim :) The fuller Maddie's little belly grew, the heavier her eyes got, too! We are so blessed and have so many things to be thankful for! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

10 Things I Want Always Want to Cherish

1. The way she walks around the house hollering "Mommy," "Da-dee," "MA," and "Cacker" which means cracker!
2. Her magical giggle!
3. The way she makes the "smooching" sound before she plants a sweet kiss on you.
4. Her BIG hugs! If you are layin next to her, she'll put one arm under your neck and the other one around you, squeeze and pat your back.
5. The way she tickles you (with her fingernails) and says "Tick-Tick-Tick!"
6. Her love of purses, scarves and anything she can throw over her shoulder.
7.How excited she gets when she accomplishes something new (complete with clapping and "Yeah")! And her smile........it melts my heart everytime I see it.
8. How much she loves "Patty-cake" and "If Your Happy and You Know It" and dancing. Give the girl a beat and she starts bouncing a twirling!
9. Since Maddie was born, I've always kissed on her "piggies" (toes). Now that she has gotten bigger, she'll lay there and put her foot to your mouth to kiss. Now I'm sure as she gets bigger and her little feet get sweaty, we'll have to figure something else out.
10.How happy this little person has made her daddy and I. My days are filled with laughing, tickling, lots of baby conversation, kisses and the best hugs in the whole wide world! What more out of life do you need??? Thank you Maddie for YOU!

Splish! Splash! Maddie Loves Her Bath!

Maddie loves to take baths and especially now in her new bath tub! Last night she played in there for almost 30 minutes with the bubbles (or as she says, "BA-bles) and the jets going. Here are some cute pics of her and her blowing kisses!

HALLOWEEN WAS A HIT!!!!

Well, Maddie had a blast on her 1st night of trick-or-treating! She loved seeing all the other kids running around the neighborhood, loved knocking on the doors and saying "Ah Boo!" I think she even liked her costume....not once did she try and pull her hood off! She was the most cuddly and precious little lamb I have ever laid eyes on.

Maddie was not as excited about her Halloween costume as Mommy was. Hopefully I can get her used to it before the big night gets here!

Boo at the Zoo

This year was our 1st trip to "Boo at the Zoo." Maddie enjoyed looking at all the different costumes and lights. She was a hit with her Halloween tutu (compliments of mommy). Maddie was going to wear her lamb costume....but, well you can see for yourself. Maddie had her 1st Haunted train ride, too!
