The Pumpkin Patch

Here are some pics from our annual trip to Schaefer's Pumpkin Patch and Corn maze. Last year Maddie was too little to get off the hayride to search for the perfect pumpkin with Daddy....this year she found her own pumpkin! The pumpkin vines proved to be a little challenging with Maddie...she'd trip...fall down...get back up....and trip again. She really enjoyed the hayride and throwing the hay at Dylan. It still amazes me to see Maddie doing and learning new things everyday and how excited she gets. Ahh......to see the world through a little girls eyes is PRICELESS!!!!

Moving Mayhem!

Yes, we are still alive and I am having "blogging" withdrawals! We haved recently moved and our internet is not up and running yet! Please check back soon for new pics of Maddie and hear about all the new things she is doing! Here is a recent pic I took with my cell phone. We were shopping and I either had to let her munch on her "baby cheese puffs" or she started tossing things out of the cart.......I chose the lesser of the two evils :)

Ponytails in the Park...

Well, we finally had a break in all the rain so Maddie and I headed to the park. She rode on the merri-go-round for the 1st time and loved it! Maddie loves the outdoors where she can exlore and there are many "new" things for her to pick up and put in her mouth :)

The little things that make a mommy's heart smile...

When I got home today, Maddie had this waiting for me. It the first "hand-print art" she has made on her 1st day of school. I have always been envious of my friends that have refrigerators filled with their children's artwork they made at school. Now I have the first piece of my own "refrigerator art!" It's the little things in life that make a mommy smile!

Maddie's 1st Day of School

Today was Maddie's 1st day at Mothers Day Out! I know that it is only 2 days a week, but it was a big deal to mommy. We took her this morning and the whole time I was fighting back tears. We walked into her classroom, she looked around, saw Carly (a friend who she has played with before), hopped down and ran over to her......and never looked back and never saw the tears in my eyes. The teacher said that she did great today.....except she didn't take a nap! A toddler with no nap makes a long evening. Hopefully she will get used to taking a nap with a room full of her friends :)

Sweet Sweet Maddie!

Maddie has so many new interests these days...her babydoll, talking on the phone and her "beep beep" (the car that daddy and I got her for her birthday!
