One BIG Hot Mess!
Ok, the last two days Maddie has a been a hand-full to say the least. Yesterday I was in the kitchen loading the dishwasher and Maddie was eating her breakfast, waffles and apples (so I thought). It was very quiet, so I assumed that she was either still eating or playing in the den. I walked in to find her COVERED in orange highlighter and her saying "Pitty!" Luckily my little orange tangerine came clean with a little soap and water. Today, we had gotten back from breakfast and she was playing in her room. Once again it was quiet in there so I assumed that she was entertaining herself! This is what happens when you ASSUME your 18 month old is entertaining herself and behaving. I walk in to her room to find her in the floor with her 2 little hands emerged in a big jar of vaseline. I almost fell over from shock. She was covered from head to toe in vaseline! Luckily my camera was close, like always, so with Maddie saying "Cheese" I snapped some shots of the greasy piglet before I took her to the bathtub! I got the vaseline out of her pants by soaking them in Palmolive.....We shampooed her hair multiple times with shampoo and baking soda...............DID NOT WORK! So, if you see my child and she is one big greasy mess, now you know why:) Ahhhhh, the joys of Motherhood!

Maddie's 1st Smores....Where's the Snow Ned?
Once again I felt like a kid in grade school. For days there was so much "hype" about snow and ice. Once again, we woke up to nothing. I am not complaining by any means...I have friends in NWA who don't have power and don't know when it will be turned back on. Anyway, we still had the fire going, roasted some marshmellows and Maddie had her 1st taste of smores!
Puppy has "shoo-shoo" diaper
The other morning Maddie was playing with her little learning dog. She (Maddie, not the puppy) was in need of a diaper change, so she kept herself occupied while mom changed one of a million diapers! We got done and then Maddie informed me that the doggy had a "shoo-shoo." In the Moore house "shoo-shoo" is the universal term for a "dirty diaper." So, I handed her a diaper and she grabbed the wipes and went to town! Pretty cute if ya ask me :)

Maddie's Masterpiece
Here are some pics of "Maddie's Masterpiece!" It took a couple of days to do, but she finally finished it yesterday! She really enjoyed painting her hands and feet! I think one of the most cutest things in the world is when your child is SO proud of something they did! She will grab your hand, lead you to her masterpiece point to it and say "Pitty" and start clapping. She's the coolest :)

Superbowl Bound! GO STEELERS!!!!
Today I finally got Maddie's Superbowl attire in the mail! I think Maddie knows how much her daddy loves the Steelers because she couldn't wait to get her outfit on and then stood in front of the mirror and just smiled. It put a huge smile on daddy's face when he came in from work this evening! GO STEELERS!!
